The menu at Mazaji is thoughtfully crafted, offering a diverse selection of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. From hearty, flavorful meats to fresh, vibrant vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone. Pair it with one of their signature sides, like the crispy roasted potatoes or the refreshing cucumber salad, and you have a meal that’s as satisfying as it is delicious.

Vegetarian dishes are also a highlight at Mazaji. The mezze platter, which includes a variety of dips like hummus, baba ganoush, and muhammara, offers a perfect introduction to the restaurant’s take on Mediterranean cuisine. Each dip is homemade and packed with flavor, and the warm, fluffy pita bread that comes alongside it is a crowd favorite. These small bites make for a great sharing platter if you’re dining with a group.

The attention to detail in the dishes is what truly sets Mazaji apart. The chef’s approach to each plate is meticulous, and it’s clear that fresh, high-quality ingredients are at the forefront of every creation. The flavors aren’t overly complicated, but there’s a depth to them that makes each bite an experience in itself.

But it’s not just the food that makes Mazaji a standout. The service is equally noteworthy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions without being overbearing. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time guest, you’ll feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience, with its casual yet refined feel that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • After a long morning of errands Mazaji was the perfect place to have brunch. The raspberry lemon was the perfect refresher for a hot day and it was perfectly sweetened with their in house raspberry syrup. The Mazaji latte was smooth and delicious. The shakshuka was perfectly spiced and served with warm bread. However my FAVORITE was the caramelized banana pancakes! The pancakes was so fluffy and moist. The caramelizes bananas were fresh and not too overly sweet. I’m definitely coming back ESPECIALLY for the pancakes!

  • This is quality coffee. Very smooth and has depth. The cookie butter latte is one of my favorites. As good or better than Maman or breads bakery lattes. This truly is a local gem. The quality does not change if ordered in store or for delivery- always exceptional.

  • I had the pleasure of visiting Mazaji in Bay Ridge, and it was such a great experience. The café is spotless, warm, and very comfortable — the perfect place to relax. The food was delicious, and the coffee was truly amazing. I especially want to point out the young lady who made my coffee; she was incredibly kind, courteous, and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The whole staff is polite and attentive, and the atmosphere is inviting from start to finish. This is definitely a place I’ll be visiting regularly. Highly recommended!

  • First time here. The coffee is delicious and so are the pastries. The cafe has a clean and beautiful interior with comfortable seats/seating. The staff is very friendly. I was passing through, but will definitely come back. PS: the almond croissant is out of this world. It's like a kneffeh croissant

  • Super delicious brunch options. Very authentic and delicious food. Add an egg to the traditional dishes, spicy means spicy. Q refreshing addition to the neighborhood. The beverages are nice and tasty. A bit on the sweeter side but nevertheless, great options.

  • Mazaji = My New Obsession Okay, I need to talk about how good this place is. Mazaji isn’t just a café; it’s a full-blown addiction. Their pastries are on another level, especially the chocolate croissant. Flaky, buttery, rich… I could eat five in one sitting (and honestly, I almost did ). And don’t even get me started on the refreshers. I’ve tried every single one yes, all of them and they are all so good it’s unfair. But the Summer Breeze with dragon fruit? UGH. I’m obsessed. It’s refreshing, perfectly sweet, and just gives summer-in-a-cup vibes. I crave it daily. The whole vibe of the café is warm, inviting, and just feels good to be in. Whether you’re chilling with friends or grabbing a quick pick-me-up, Mazaji delivers every single time. 10/10. No notes. Addicting pastries Refreshers that slap Must-try chocolate croissant Summer Breeze = life
